Google Releases AdWords Editor in Public Beta

Google has made AdWords Editor available in public beta. This tool is a software that helps AdWords advertisers to download their AdWords account to their computer and edit it. Revised campaigns can be uploaded after the modification.

AdWords Editor has been through quite a process of testing since January 2006 when Google first released the product in private beta.

Here are some of the features of AdWords Editor:

  • Add, edit and delete Ad Groups, ad text, keywords, CPCs, URLs, etc.
  • Make bulk changes of keywords
  • Search entire account and adjust accordingly
  • Check for errors such as potential policy violations
  • Upload changes to AdWords
  • Export a snapshot to show it to a colleague
  • Work offline
  • Manage multiple accounts
  • Copy and paste
  • Collaboration

Looking at the features (I haven’t tested it yet), I think this product will beat other commercial AdWords management software. Definitely worth a try.
