Google Analytics Limits Sign-Ups

Due to a surge of demand by webmasters who want to try the new marketing service from Google and lack of testing, new applications to Google Analytics have to stay on the waiting list at least for now.
Since Google release Google Analytics there are huge demand for this tool and the fact that Google never put this service into beta testing raise some early problems. For example, many people reported that they can’t access the report data even 48 hours after implementation on their site. Although Google still log the data, they announce that the report would be available in 24 hours.
From the Google Analytics sign-up page:
Google Analytics has experienced extremely strong demand, and as a result, we have temporarily limited the number of new signups as we increase capacity. In the meantime, please submit your name and email address and we will notify you as soon as we are ready to add new accounts. Thank you for your patience.
Garrett Rogers of ZDNet reported that there is more than 230,000 accounts crated only after the first week of launch and additional 200,000 profiles. Seems like Google now have resource issues to cope up, especially if they still want to deliver on-time reporting.
