Google Inc. and eBay Inc. today announced a multi-year agreement for Google’s text ads exclusively on eBay outside the United States. In addition, eBay and Google plan to integrate and launch pay-per-call (or click-to-call) advertising functionality using Google Talk or eBay’s Skype Web-based phone applications.

comScore Networks reports that in June 2006, Google gained 44.7 percent of online search share, which is a 0.5 percent increase from 44.2 percent last month. Yahoo! also increase their share, albeit slower from 28.0 percent to 28.5 percent. MSN dropped from 13.1 percent to 12.8 percent.

Google is one step closer toward transparency in click fraud by adding the reporting fraud and invalid clicks columns available to all advertisers. They claim to show virtualy all the invalid clicks affecting an account in the metrics of invalid clicks and invalid clicks rate.
