How accurate is Google AdWords?

comScore Networks reports that in June 2006, Google gained 44.7 percent of online search share, which is a 0.5 percent increase from 44.2 percent last month. Yahoo! also increase their share, albeit slower from 28.0 percent to 28.5 percent. MSN dropped from 13.1 percent to 12.8 percent.

Outsell concluded in their new publication that Google, Yahoo! and MSN are stonewalling on click fraud, to their own and others’ detriments. It was estimated $800 million that advertisers have paid to the search companies were fraudulent.

Microsoft has launched adLab with keyword tools among others. One of the interesting tool, for example, is Demographics Prediction. With this tool, not only you are able to find out scientifically about certain keyword demographic and if you want to advertise on a site, demographics of the URL in question.
